In a little town in South Dakota it is a house that time seemed to have forgotten. The house was investigated by Rose, Ashley and I (Dean). The house had history and at least 1 death within. It was home to the last telegraph operator in the small town from an era past. The structure was/is believed to be haunted by some. Walking through the main level floor of the house I did not feel anything really other than it being a house that will more than likely not house anymore tenants or living human inhabitants. I did not feel anything… until I did a walk-through of the upstairs section. I went into 1 of the 2 bedrooms upstairs; I then walked back out through the doorway to go into the small hallway to the other bedroom. It is then I felt a strong sense of an intoxicating dizziness (as if drunk or other). I walked out through the doorway and into the small hallway-like area and felt it even stronger. It was so strong that I believe I stated out loud “Woh, what the…” Ashley felt a sense of dis-orientation also and she stated that her eye balls felt some sort of pressure. It was so strong with me that I stopped and stood in-place and I felt myself swaying. The odd part was that we went back downstairs and did not feel it anymore. We then went back upstairs in the same area and felt nothing, all normal. Approximately 20 minutes later a neighbor to the house came over to talk to us (a neighbor that was expecting us there to investigate the structure). I asked the neighbor if anyone was connected to the property that may have been an alcoholic, or suffered from a head injury. He stated that the man who used to live next door was an alcoholic. The neighbor also stated that that same man used to do stucco work to outside of the buildings for a business. While doing work on a big building in Texas he fell a good distance to the paved parking lot below. The man lived, but had to have metal rods implanted where his back bone was. That same man, used to come over to this same house, to visit the lady who lived here, on some Saturday nights, in which she referred to as “Date night.” During the duration the neighbor was talking, the beam motion sensor was activated upstairs when we were all talking on the main level floor. The feelings I had in the upstairs area at that one moment is by far the oddest feelings I ever had on an investigation over the years. The old house was sold and we believe it will probably be torn down and left as an empty lot.  This investigation was a prime example of old places that may have activity but have never been truly looked into for possible activity.  I am glad we had the opportunity to go into this old house before it was gone.
